This is a 21+ event. Celebrate Bas Fisher Invitational (BFI)’s 20 Year Anniversary with curated night of video and performance, featuring a DJ set by James Richardson (of MGMT) and projected artworks by Coral Morphologic and Jen Stark.
Artist run organization BFI was born in late 2004, before social media, when Miami creatives of all kinds would meet in the wild… An era of dancing till the clubs close, then jumping in the ocean…
Celebrate this incredible milestone of BFI’s 20th Anniversary at the Miami Beach Bandshell with an art & music extravaganza! James Richardson was part of BFI’s 2019 project “Coral Cross,” a melodic black metal concept band by Jorge Elbrect which played to an installation by Max Hooper Schneider at the Colony Theater. At this event, he will take us on a dance journey from the era where indie sleaze was played side by side with Miami Bass, and we will DANCE!
Coral Morphologic and Jen Stark’s video artworks will be projection mapped across the venue, creating an immersive art and music experience.
