Makaya McCraven

Rhythm Foundation in association with Brainville is proud to present internationally acclaimed drummer, producer, and sonic collagist Makaya McCraven and his band. McCraven's "Off The Record" Tour, named after his newly compiled release of four EPs, is the perfect overview of this composer's scope and dynamic range. These four distinct yet interconnected EPs – Techno Logic, The People’s Mixtape, Hidden Out!, and PopUp Shop – all released on music platforms October 31st – mark McCraven’s first recorded offerings since 2022’s In These Times. They return to the signature “organic beat music” approach he first debuted on his 2015 album, and further developed across subsequent releases.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
