Good evening, and welcome to the Cosmic Constellation!

Tonight, we invite you to step into a universe handcrafted by our community—a vibrant, immersive space where the stars align in Miami’s warm, creative glow. This one-of-a-kind installation brings together art, music, and connection, offering a celestial experience that’s both grounding and magical.

We’re kicking off the evening with an opening set by Miami-based songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Vania Junco. With her roots in jazz, folk, and baroque music, Vania creates harmonically rich, emotionally resonant compositions. A recipient of the prestigious Downbeat Student Music Award for Outstanding Jazz Performance, Vania has graced stages from Carnegie Hall to Miami’s New World Center. Her dedication to beauty in music makes her the perfect artist to set the tone for tonight’s event.

As you explore, immerse yourself in the Cosmic Constellation through its unique elements:

🌟 Touchable Fiber Art by Karelle Levy

  • Interact with hundreds of soft, handcrafted pom-poms that form the heart of the installation. Each “star” was made by a member of our community, representing their unique place in the universe, making this installation a reflection of our collective creativity.

✨ Video Art by Mariana Mendoza

  • Watch the installation come alive as cosmic visuals, projected by Mariana Mendoza, dance across the pom-poms. Light and shadow weave together to create a mesmerizing celestial landscape.

🎶 Soundscape by Afrobeta

  • Let the soothing, spacey soundscape crafted by Afrobeta transport you as new music from their upcoming album and holiday classics set the tone for a night of discovery and wonder.

Explore the Cosmic Activations

Beyond the constellation itself, we’ve created several activations to make your journey even more memorable:

🛠️ Upcycled Cosmic Merch Booth

  • Check out our upcycled merchandise featuring space ice-dyed designs and our limited edition Cosmic Constellation Voyager Patch.

👗 KRELwear Pop-Up Shop

  • Don’t miss the chance to browse one-of-a-kind fashion pieces by fiber artist Karelle Levy. Each piece is individually knit and designed with comfort, ease and fit in mind. Karelle programs each pattern on her Shima Seiki (aka Maggie) and “3-D prints” them per order. She uses light weight breathable plant based bamboo, cotton, lyocell, viscose yarns and blends them with sparkle from time to time. The zero waste collection is produced entirely in her shop based in Miami. The yarn and fabric remnants transform into shopping bags, dolls, and artworks.

📮 Cosmic Post Office

  • Send a postcard from the Cosmic Constellation! Stop by our pop-up post office to write a note and share a little stardust with someone special.
