How many people does the Bandshell hold?
The Bandshell capacity for seated shows is 800. For standing General Admission shows, the capacity is 1300. Different seating configurations are possible within these totals.

What time is the Bandshell curfew?
Venue curfew is 10pm, with the possibility for an extension to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. A typical show runs from 7pm – 10pm or 11pm (on weekends).
How much does it cost to rent the Bandshell?
Venue rental (which includes the in-house sound and lights, and furniture) is $2500 for non-profit organizations; $3500 + sales tax for for-profits; and $5000 + sales tax for private events. The rent does NOT include the required venue staffing (tech team, front of house, cleaning, security). Expect the venue costs for a typical concert to exceed $7000 (not including your artist fees and marketing costs). A private event budget depends on catering and other external costs.
After sending in your inquiry below, you will receive a show budget estimate. New promoters may be invoiced 50% of this budget upon contract signing, with the balance due 14 days prior to day of show (if box office revenues do not cover your venue costs). Private events and production rentals must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the event date.
Can I use my own ticketing site?
Miami Beach Bandshell tickets are sold on DICE. Some free community events are alternately listed on Eventbrite. You must use our venue ticketing platforms.
We pay out any box office revenue (after venue expenses) to you usually within 5 business days of your event.
Can I bring in my own bar or food vendors?
The Bandshell operates the venue’s bar through our own liquor license. You may not bring in your own bar or outside operator for drink sales. You can work with our Food & Beverage Manager to bring in food vendors (within the venue and city guidelines). Please note that full-size food trucks do NOT fit inside the Bandshell. Please note also we are also a plastic-free venue.
How does the rental process work?
To confirm a hold on our calendar, you will submit a $1,000 security deposit. If another producer is already holding the date, this will require a formal challenge. Upon payment of the security deposit, anyone with a prior hold will have 2 business days to respond to your challenge.
If your challenge is successful, a contract will be issued, and your security deposit will be refunded only after the completion of your event. If your challenge is unsuccessful, we will promptly refund your deposit in full.
