An international cultural exchange between Miami and Rome, celebrating the transAtlantic love of disco with the release of a new commissioned track, Ode To Italy. Recorded in Miami by artist/producer Aramis Lorié, and remixed in Rome by renowned producer Stefano Fusco. The track was released August 2024 with two glorious events, one in Miami Beach and one in Rome.

What is Italo Disco? Italo Disco, and its cousins Freestyle and Hi-Energy dance music are all precursors to modern day house music. The sound carried Disco’s back beat influence and traded orchestras for drum machines, compositions characterized by their minimal voices and catchy melodic motifs. In exploring the origins, artists and communities behind these movements, we felt compelled to reconnect the invisible lines drawn between our two bodies surrounded by water. |
