A musical tradition that builds on the glam and theatrics of opera and big Eurovision energy – Italian HIT Week is a unique platform that introduces fresh music from Italy to US audiences. The 2024 edition of the annual showcase of fresh sounds from Italy features the sets by four new Italian artists: Giulia Mutti, Damian McFly, Didi, and Liverpool Alligator Park. Note: Italian pop group The Kolors will not appear in Miami because of hurricane-related travel disruptions.
This series reminds us that Italy is always a good idea. Since launching in 2011, HIT Week has introduced US audiences to a who’s who in Italian music of various genres – pop, jazz, folk. HIT Week is produced each year in Miami since 2010 by Rhythm Foundation and Mela Inc, with support from the Italian Trade Commission and in partnership with the Consulate General of Italy in Miami and FIU Italian Club.
