After 25 years, Thievery Corporation’s genre-defying electronic music is more relevant than ever. With a dozen acclaimed albums and over two decades of electrifying live shows, their message of inclusion and diversity resonates globally. Inspired by international cultures, Garza and Hilton’s music blends influences from Brazil, India, Iran, Jamaica, and jazz, avoiding cultural appropriation. Their debut album, *Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi* (1996), set the stage for their pioneering electronic sound. D.C.'s Eighteenth Street Lounge became a hub for multicultural collaboration, shaping their unique output. Their "Outernational" approach reflects social consciousness and inclusivity, ideals inspired by artists like The Clash and Fela Kuti. Thievery’s live shows are dynamic performances, blending multiple instruments and diverse vocals, offering fans a global musical journey. With a legacy that transcends trends, their music continues to inspire, influence, and bring people together through sound.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
