With their hypnotic rhythms and mesmerizing vocals, Stereolab became one of indie's most distinctive and influential bands when they emerged in the early 1990s. Led by Tim Gane and Laetitia Sadier, the group celebrated strands of pop music -- bossa nova, lounge-pop, movie soundtracks -- that were traditionally banished from rock's lineage. Subsequent releases combined 60’s pop melodies with an art rock aesthetic borrowed from Krautrock, then jazz, hiphop and dance music. In 2019, Stereolab ended a decade-long hiatus to play a series of concerts and festivals that coincided with deluxe reissues of their classic albums and singles. This rare concert tour brings the band to the Bandshell for their first South Florida concert in decades. Presented by Rhythm Foundation and Poplife.

Where do we park?
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
