Mozart on the Move offers an invitation to explore the sublime world of chamber music, in the company of the esteemed South Beach Chamber Ensemble. The ensemble begins with Mozart, whom they dub the 'quintessential boy genius', and move on to an eclectic mix of the Gershwin, Italian opera arias, sambas, tangos, current pop songs and more from the classical canon. South Beach Chamber Ensemble was formed in 1997 by cellist Michael Andrews, as a string group that promotes and performs chamber music in all its diverse forms. From traditional classical origins, to the varied contemporary cultural creations, the Ensemble brings together performers, composers, and audiences to experience the beauty and intimacy of the human spirit. The Ensemble has delighted audiences across South Florida, as well as toured the globe representing South Florida excellence worldwide. Miami Beach Arts in the Parks is a free series presented by Rhythm Foundation and the City of Miami Beach.

Where do we park?
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
