North Beach Social: Las Nubes

“...Fuzzy, garage-tinged... loaded with ruminations on the messy situationships that bloom in a sweaty, endless summer. You can practically hear the condensation running down their guitars.” -Remezcla Since 2017, the Miami-based Las Nubes has played their undeniably catchy, multilingual alternative/dream pop/shoegaze all over the damn place - bars, basements, festivals, storefronts... The current quartet of Ale Campos (guitar/vocals), Emile Milgrim (drums), Steph Taylor (guitar), and Cuci Amador (bass/vocals) forge a relentless energy founded on their collective DIY roots throughout South Florida and Latin America. Throughout multiple lineups, releases, tours, and even a name change, they’ve only just begun scratching the surface. Opening set by Suave Cello Quartet, and other delights throughout the evening. North Beach Social is the free monthly meet up for music loving neighbors, 3rd Thursdays featuring top locally-based bands. The series is presented by Rhythm Foundation with support from the City of Miami Beach.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell, and it is free (!) after 6pm. When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
