Miami Sound Space

An evening of communal singing, with a special program by Miami Sound Choir. Choir master Laurah Mersier invites us to break down barriers, build bridges, and spread joy and unity through music. Miami Sound Space is a community choir collective of, for, and by Miami. The group has as its mission to combat community deterioration through community singing opportunities, and offers four core programs: Miami Sound Choir (a radically inclusive adult community choir), The Bluebirds (a men’s choir for incarcerated singers), Threshold Singers (who provide bedside singing to those nearing life's end), and Lullaby & Life (a parent and baby choir). The North Beach Social, Third Thursdays, is a free monthly meet up for music lovers at the Bandshell, presented by Rhythm Foundation with support from the City of Miami Beach.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
