Miami City Ballet Presents: Next Stage

Step inside the creative process. Next Stage transforms everyday spaces into stages, bringing Miami City Ballet closer to you than ever before. This reimagined pop-up series spotlights emerging choreographers from within the MCB community, sharing original works that are fresh, personal, and unexpected. Each performance showcases a curated collection of styles including modern, classical, and contemporary as short pieces followed by a vibrant finale by Ariel Rose, blending ballet with the energy and expression of flamenco. Stay after the performance for a live Q&A with Artistic Director Gonzalo Garcia and the artists—and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the work comes to life.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
