Founded in 2017 by CEO Paul Lehr and Artistic Director and Snarky Puppy bandleader Michael League, GroundUP Music Festival is artist-centric and attendee-focused, blending an eclectic mix of genres to create a dynamic and varied festival experience. Taking place each year in February at the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, FL, GroundUP is intimate and immersive, delivering an authentic and optimal experience for musicians and fans. Featuring two performance stages but no overlapping sets, GroundUP is stacked with musicians’ musicians -- offering exclusive oceanfront workshops and a welcoming, communal atmosphere in the heart of Miami Beach.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell, and it is free (!) after 6pm. When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
