Gilsons
The Brazilian musical trio Gilsons began in 2018. Francisco, João, and José Gil are respectively the sons and grandsons of the legendary Gilberto Gil. The band blends pop rock, samba, rap and Bahian rhythms, but draws particular inspiration from the classic MPB sound that is theirs - and Brazil's - musical heritage. Following a strong run of releases, which featured the hits several hit tunes, the band released their Latin Grammy-nominated debut album in 2022, "Pra Gente Acordar." Buoyed beyond Brazil by ardent followings on Youtube and Tiktok, the group made their US debut tour in 2024 - this concert is part of a follow up tour to that successful introduction. This concert is presented by Rhythm Foundation and Live Arts Miami, as part of their Mundos Series.

Where do we park? 
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
