Sonora Tukukuy + Romperayo Sound System

Celebrating libertad with cumbia, featuring Bogota-based psych-cumbia group Romperayo Sound System; Miami-based collective Sonora Tukukuy; DJ Krishna; DJ Bonita Applebumz; and Paz y Flora dance ensemble. The evening also features Peruvian food vendors, and other delights. This special night falls in between Colombia and Peru's national days, and is a celebration of freedom, summer, and Latin music and culture. Proceeds from this event will be given to We Love Foundation, Inc., providing emergency relief in Venezuela.

Proceeds from this show will be given to We Love Foundation. Follow Instagram account, [@welove_foundation], for updates regarding the relief efforts. We would also like to inform you that the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) facility, located at 1850 NW 84th Avenue, Suite 100, Doral, FL 33126, is currently serving as a collection center for supplies and donations that will be transported to Venezuela to assist those affected by the recent earthquake.

Where do we park? arrow down

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.

What if it rains? arrow down

The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.

Can we bring a picnic? arrow down

No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
