The 2025 edition of the free annual showcase of fresh music from Italy features cinematic funk ensemble CALIBRO 35. The group will perform live soundtracks to some classic Italian films. CALIBRO 35 began in 2007 in Milan originally as an indie-music project exploring the golden age of Italian film scores. They have released eight albums, composed numerous soundtracks, including the acclaimed TV series Blanca, curated the sound design for Radio Uno and IsoRadio, and created special projects such as the monumental Scacco al Maestro dedicated to Ennio Morricone. Their music has been sampled by hip-hop heavyweights like Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Timbaland, and they have shared the stage with artists such as Sharon Jones, Thundercat, Sun Ra Arkestra, Muse, JET, and many others. HIT Week is produced by Rhythm Foundation and Mela, with support from the Italian Trade Commission.

Where do we park?
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
