Gustavo Rafael Guerrero Soto, known professionally as Big Soto, is a Venezuelan rapper, singer and composer of urban genre. His stage name is a homage to his mothers’ family, the Soto’s, who, besides being musicians, supported and gave him wings to pursue his artistic career. Big Soto’s first song was Exposicion in 2014 but the first one to put him in the national music scene was Chamito Loco, featuring Trainer. In 2016 he met Micro TDH, another Venezuelan singer. They share great interest in similar musical styles and have songs together like Ponte and Caderas.
Big Soto also shares a musical relationship with the rapper Neutro Shorty, which started in 2018 when they met performing at a show. Their joint album, Apokalypsis, is composed of eight songs accompanied by a video each. In 2018 he added to his catalog songs like Aquella Noche, Perdon Mama, Me Niego Ft. Mora, Verdad and Grosero. In 2019 he moved to the Dominican Republic to continue working in his musical career, and shortly after moved again to Mexico City with the intention of boosting his career by the hand of Rimas Music. Big Soto’s career has been specially pushed by his social media, YouTube and SoundCloud being the first ones where the singer started to share his work. Additional to the great push social media gave him, he has done several collaborations.
