Idiosyncratic guitarist/composer Diego Melgar looks back on a decade+ of music-making in every setting across Miami, the vivid and sonically diverse marshland he calls home, joined by an eclectic group of past and present collaborators for a multimedia concert experience combining jazz, R&B, gospel, electronic, and ambient music with choreography and immersive visuals. Reimagining impactful moments of his musical journey, Diego’s ensemble Swamp Lily will accompany frequent collaborators such as vocalist and composer Dani Amaro, long-time bassist Marty Quinn, sound designer and producer Sohn Jamal, and the Refuge Church Miami Praise Team led by Briana Upton, with musical director Torrance Scott. Choreographers Pioneer Winter, Nicole Pedraza and Junior Domingos will also revisit previous collaborations with Diego, all as the Bandshell is immersed in projected visuals by artists Nika Dotsenko and Diago Leon.

Where do we park?
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
