Miami Beach Bandshell Barrington Levy – Miami Beach Bandshell

Barrington Levy

Barrington Levy's career story is nothing short of remarkable. Emerging from the vibrant sound system scene of Kingston, Jamaica in the late 1970s, Levy quickly rose to prominence with his distinctive voice and commanding presence. By the 1980s, he had reshaped the dancehall genre, becoming one of the most iconic and influential artists of the era. His unique fusion of roots reggae, dancehall, and R&B set him apart from his peers, and his timeless hits – such as “Murderer”, “Black Roses”, and “Under Mi Sensi” – are still celebrated by fans across generations. Barrington remains one of the most sought-after performers in the world. Whether he's performing classic hits or new material from his highly anticipated final album "It's About Time", Barrington's live shows are a high-energy celebration of reggae and dancehall culture that never fails to leave a lasting impression.
