Gran Fiesta de San Juan is a festive gathering that every year brings together more than 100 artists on stage, including dancers and performers of the Venezuelan drum, to celebrate the Afro-Venezuelan identity. During the event, San Juan USA, along with renowned guests from the Venezuelan music and dance scene, will take the audience on an emotional and ancestral journey through the musicality and movement that characterizes our cultural identity, with dance, music, and percussion workshops. San Juan USA is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the cultural diversity of celebrations and folk rhythms that exist in Venezuela. Our purpose is to safeguard, promote, and protect both the heritage and all the different artistic expressions that unfold within them through an exhibition that creates an educational and fun environment. Our intention is to bring a sample of the different artistic expressions that emerge in the Venezuelan popular traditional festive calendar to the United States and promote the talent of our artists in dance, music, attire, gastronomy, and customs, giving Venezuelans who visit us a sense of belonging through an extraordinary reunion with their traditions, values, and sharing with their community.

Where do we park?
The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell, and it is free (!) after 6pm. When it is full, look for street parking.
What if it rains?
The venue is an open air facility, covered by our new canopy. Shows are scheduled rain or shine.
Can we bring a picnic?
No outside food or drink inside the Bandshell, please. We have a fully-stocked bar, and we usually feature wonderful food vendors inside the venue. We also have a water refill station.
