Cuadro Flamenco

Ballet Flamenco La Rosa presents Cuadro Flamenco-authentic Flamenco in its most traditional form. This professional company is based in Miami, and made up of dancers and musicians from Spain, Latin America and the U.S. In Cuadro Flamenco, dancers and musicians are seated in a semi circle and performing the varies "palos" or rhythms of Flamenco in a spontaneous and improvised form, which is part of the "magic' that is Flamenco. The artists interact in the music and dance, as well as with "palmas" (handclapping) and "jaleos" (shouts of 'ole' and other expressions of encouragement.) The outpouring of deep emotion and powerful athleticism are enhanced in this exciting event. This performance will delight with pure Flamenco music and dance, in a range of rhythms and styles that will take you through dramatic, soulful, joyous, sensual and passionate moods with powerful vocals, electrifying footwork, and all of the grace and beauty that has made Flamenco an inspiration to writers, poets musicians, composers, choreographers, painters and sculptors for centuries.
